Unknown to Hawk his father was raised by a drow vampire priest of Shade. He is a paladin and vampire in his own right. This will not be discovered for some time.
Also unknown to Hawk. Hawk's mother is being protected by a lady of a small house that has been unable to release her since she has insufficient power. His mother is incredibly loyal to her mistress but still greatly misses the surface world.
Hawk has not yet chosen his familiar. During the course of the game I will watch and find an appropriate one for his personality.
