Demonkin
Demonkin are the descendents of a mortal female and a demon possessed male.
Due to this ancestry demonkin are very strongly ruled by their passions.
The rarest type of Demonkin are those that are not attached to any supernatural
group. Within some supernatural groups the gained acceptance.
The most common Demonkin are found among the vampiric social groups: (Anarch,
Camarilla
or Sabbat). This document is for
playing in those games that don't involve one of these families of demonkin.
Demonkin possess an additional virtue called passion. Passion begins
at zero and rises and falls during game play anytime the demons passions
are stretched. (Things like strong sexual desire, and anger raise passion.
Quiet and rest lowers passion.)
Demonkin may possess vampiric disciplines (Except blood thaumaturgy
and Mythceria), any primary path
of Thaumaturgy (except blood Thaumaturgy) and gain 3 beginning dots
that they can place into these. Demonkin may also be psychics but must
pay freebie points for psychic
gifts (must purchase merit to be psychic).
All Vampiric Disciplines are purchased as if it was a clan Discipline.
However, Demonkin cannot learn a discipline over 5 dots. Free Demonkin
tend to be very limited in the types of disciplines they develop (primarily
physical).
Demonkin have several advantages and disadvantages gained from their
demonic heritage.

Demonkin naturally heal one health block / day. All wounds will eventually
heal completely unlike a mortal.Demonkin are longlived and remain healthy
for that time period (see bloodline background).

Demonkin may enter the Umbra with the aid of a mirrored surface but also
may slip into the Umbra unwillingly each time they are near a mirror.
Demonkin actually require a large enough mirror to be able to enter it
as a doorway.

Demonkin also feel themselves drawn toward Hell when in the Umbra. This
draw can be fought with a bit of concentration.

Demonkin can see perfectly well in pitch blackness but their eyes reflect
any light present becoming bright and reflect the slightest light appearing
to glow strongly.

Demonkin can naturally see and speak to spirits as well as percieve the
spirit world.

Demonkin can grow razer sharp fingernails at will. These fingernails do
1d6 +BTM + passion rating aggrevated damage.

Demonkin are highly light sensitive. Demonkin burn in the sunlight taking
1 health level per minute in direct sunlight.

Demonkin are affected by true faith much as a vampire.

All demonkin are detectable as demon tainted by any able to detect such.
A demonkin's aura constantly shows its demonic nature. It appears as a
normal human aura with black veins crawling through it like worms. This
tends to make those able to see auras a little nervous.

Demonkin take extra damage from silver and any other mystically "pure"
material. Touching these things is uncomfortable. Usually between 1 and
2 extra points per die depending on the substance.
